本文以《左傳》敘事為對象，由歷史想像角度切入，探討《左傳》歷史想像之表達形式及其如何寄寓史家態度與褒貶。
《春秋》、《左傳》、《史記》及《漢書》四部典籍，分別代表不同階段史學觀念與歷史敘事之推展。其中《左傳》在歷史想像之運用與表現形式之發展，為中國史學敘事奠下基礎。歷史想像主要有組織、表現、寄託與解釋等功能，透過歷史想像史家體現其史識與評價。《左傳》歷史想像透過語言內容、事件細節、人物刻劃等形式，達到寄褒貶於想像，寓論斷於敘事之效果。

This paper discuss the" Historical imagination "of " Tso-chuan （左傳）".We approach the technique of expression from different angles, and try to sum up the rule of " Historical imagination ".The function of " Historical imagination " as follows: organize, express, explain, metaphor. Through analyse the technique of expression,we can deepen our comprehension about historian's judge of historic characters, and understand the theory on history of " Tso-chuan （左傳）"
