摘要：
不管是江南的文化、江南的音樂，還是其主要演奏樂器—琵琶，在它們的產生和發展過程中都體現著江南特有的柔性、靈動與自然婉麗，顯現著與江南自然景觀、人文氣質相一致的細膩、清秀、精緻、詩性。本文就江南文化的概念，江南文化的形成、演變、特徵，以及與江南音樂的關係進行了探討，對江南琵琶的界定表述了作者的觀點。
英文摘要：
The culuture, music in Jiangnan (the area south of the Yangtze River) and its major musical instrument:Pipa, in the course of its beginning and development, all possess geographically unique flexibility, agility, and natural grace, matching with the exquisition,delicacy, refinement, and poetic inspiration revealed from the natural scenery and humanistic qualities in Jiangnan. This culture’s concept, formation, evolution, and features, along with its connection with music in this area, will be studied in this article. The definition of Jiangnan Pipa, however, merely demonstrates the author’s academic assertion.
